The Castle Inn
Situated in the beautifully-preserved National Trust Tudor village of Chiddingstone, you’ll find the charming Castle Inn.
Under new ownership since April 2019, The Castle Inn is a traditional English village inn that offers a cosy interior with roaring fires for colder months and a pretty garden that’s perfect for soaking up the summer sunshine.
With a focus on local produce, freshly prepared food and a handpicked selection of wines, spirits and beers, including much-loved Kentish real ales from Chiddingstone’s Larkins Brewery and nearby Titsey Brewing Co, The Castle Inn offers a real flavour of England.
A grade II* listed building, which dates back to the early 15th century, the inn still boasts many historic features such as the fireplaces, tiled floors, oak panelling and bars.
There are a number of wonderful tourist attractions to visit in the area, including Chiddingstone Castle, Hever Castle, Penshurst Place and Chartwell.
