Eagle Heights Wildlife Park
One of the UK’s largest bird of prey centres, Eagle Heights also has meerkats, huskies and fluffy alpacas.
Spend the day watching owls and other awesome raptors take flight. You might even meet Kayla the bald eagle, Crystal Palace FC’s Official Live Mascot. The sanctuary also homes meerkats and reindeer.
One of the many highlights of Eagle Heights is their range of animal Experiences. You can learn to handle and fly an owl or feed meerkats by hand. Visitors aged 12 years and up can take a hike through the pretty countryside of the Darent Valley with an alpaca by their side. Younger kids from aged 8 can join the ice-eyed huskies for a 3km (2 mile) walk. You can take afternoon tea here, too.
